We spend the first day discovering the beautiful surroundings of the peruvian jungle, including a local waterfall and the next two days visiting the the plantation working with the local peoples learning about their work. We then embark on a short flight to the city once known as the capital of the Inca Empire: Cusco. The next few days will be filled with culture, history, tradition and stunning Andean landscapes. On arrival, we head straight to the beautiful Sacred Valley and rest for the night. Our time in the Sacred Valley allows us to acclimatize to the altitude before heading to higher ground. This is followed by a visit to Ollantaytambo and its iconic archaeological sites.

After an early morning start, we will experience a picturesque train journey to Km 104, the last section of the famous Inca Trail and where our full day trek to the enchanting ruins of Machu Picchu starts. Words cannot describe the exhilaration of the first sighting of Machu Picchu. We spend a night in Aguas Calientes for the opportunity to visit Machu Picchu again, at its best, early the following morning. Upon our return to Cusco, our guide will take us to the most iconic sites around Cusco, including the Cathedrals followed by a hands on cooking class where you will learn all about the world wide famous Peruvian cuisine.
