Credit cards are accepted in larger stores or hotels, but do not rely on being able to use them everywhere.

Visas are not required for Fiji for the following nationalities:

A Visitor Permit is granted upon arrival into Fiji, valid for four (4) months, free of charge. Visitor Permits are issued on arrival on the condition that visitors hold a passport valid for at least 6 months from the intended date of departure from Fiji and they have proof of an outbound ticket (eg. return ticket to home country or ticket for onward travel)

Money and valuables should always be stored safely when travelling. Keep your passport with you at all times and do not leave it in your main luggage. You will need it to change money and check into hotels. Where safety deposit boxes are available, we recommend that you use them. Keep jewellery and valuables to a minimum.
