Lodges

Throughout Central America, you stay in a range of well selected lodges positioned in natural or culturally significant settings.

While not luxury properties, these lodges offer comfortable, well maintained accommodation with good facilities and welcoming service. They are chosen for their suitability to the location and the overall experience they provide, whether near rainforest reserves, volcanic landscapes or coastal regions.

Camping

On many of our Central America adventures, you camp in carefully chosen wilderness locations that allow you to travel beyond the reach of towns and roads.

You sleep in spacious two person tents, most with standing height, good ventilation and insect mesh for comfort in tropical conditions. A dedicated dining setup is provided, along with a portable toilet tent where permanent facilities are not available or would be inappropriate for the environment.

This style of travel keeps you immersed in the landscape while maintaining a practical, low impact camp experience.

Homestays

In parts of Central America, you may stay with a local family in a traditional homestay, offering meaningful insight into everyday life, culture and cuisine.
