World Expeditions Schools, as part of our risk management training, request your (School Executive, organising teacher & supervising teachers), attendance at our biannual risk management workshop.
This event is run by our Head of Risk and is essential preparation for all schools travelling in the six months following the workshop. Supervising teachers, organising teachers, the school’s Executive and/or the school’s 24-hour contact person, will leave the session more confident and competent regarding prevention & management processes regarding risk. All the evidence strongly suggests that it is face-to-face training and scenarios discussions pre-departure that reduce the number of incidents and the negative effect of incidents during tours.
We will have two 45-minute sessions with a short break between sessions:
- Procedures and Processes: Roles/Responsibilities, Supervision, Communications & Risk Prevention.
- Incident Management: Scenarios to frontload knowledge and build competencies, and confidence.
